[Poka-Yoke Example] Development of Inspection Stamp (Shachihata)
By attaching our poka-yoke transmitter, we achieve prevention of omissions in the inspection work!
We received a request from an automotive parts manufacturer (exhaust system components) stating, "We have been asked by our client to implement a poka-yoke (mistake-proofing) system for our inspection stamp (Shachihata) to prevent forgetting to stamp, so we would like you to develop an inspection stamp with a poka-yoke function." We have realized this request. 【Details】 - We developed a system that attaches our poka-yoke transmitter to the inspection stamp currently used by the customer, which emits a signal when the stamp is pressed. - We decided to use a small micro switch for sensing the stamp operation and devised the placement of the transmitter to make it easier for the inspection operator to hold the stamp. - By designing it so that the signal is not sent unless the green button is pressed while stamping, we ensured that it does not send a signal during test presses. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
